Clerk & Finance

The Clerk and Finance Department is located in City Hall at 205 West Center Street, Lake City, MN 55041.  Staffing consists of a City Clerk, Finance Director/Treasurer, Administrative Clerk, and Accountant. The department is responsible for recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions as well as performing the statutory duties of the City Clerk.  In addition, the Finance Department works closely with utility billing and provides assistance as needed. The Clerk/Finance Department also provides support and documentation as requested by staff, council, or the public.
