Environmental Commission

The Environmental Commission was formed in 2017.  The purpose of the Commission is to promote stewardship and preservation of the City's environmental and natural resources by seeking out emerging issues and developing sound long-term policies regarding these issues and by increasing government, citizen, and stakeholder awareness about these issues.

The commission is made up of seven members plus any advisory members.  In addition to the seven members, up to two high school students may serve on the commission as full voting members and must be at least 15 years old.

Agenda information is available in the City's electronic agenda management feature.  The Commission is supported by the staff of the Public Works Department. Meetings occur on the fourth Tuesday of  every other month at City Hall.
