Boards and Commissions

The elected and appointed officials who serve the community of Lake City are a dedicated group who value serving the public. Lake City has a number of boards and commissions, in addition to the City Council, that are designed to keep each area of government within the City functioning properly, as well as addressing the concerns of community members.

 

Residents interested in serving on a board or commission should complete the application below to make the Mayor and Council aware of their interest.  Once appointed, terms are 3 years, unless filling in for a vacant position.  The Mayor appoints new members to boards and commissions, subject to the confirmation of the City Council.  Board and Commission Applications should be submitted to:
